Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
