Assassin's Creed Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a surprising partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
